It’s summertime and there is no better way to kick off the season than a trip to Hollywood. We’re heading to Los Angeles for the 2016 Ticketmaster Sports Summit and we couldn’t be more excited!
Here are some things we’re looking forward to during this year’s summit.
1.) A Workshop That Will Help You Make Sense of Data
With the ever changing world of digital, it’s hard to keep up with all the powerful ways to harness and use data. Hear how analytics experts like Vince Ircandia of the Trailblazers, Umesh Johari of the 49rs, Chris Pittenturf of Palace Sports & Entertainment and David Smrek of Ticketmaster tell us their approach to a successful data-driven sports organization. Also, see how some of the most innovative sports teams unleash new possibilities through their fan data.
2.) Networking with the Brightest Minds in Sports Marketing
One of our favorite things about attending summits is the opportunity we have to meet some extremely savvy and bright sports marketers while we’re there. Plus, we take every opportunity to share our love of talking sports and technology. With the lineup of keynotes, labs and roundtables Ticketmaster has on the agenda, we’re sure we’ll come home with some interesting conversations.
3.) Attending the #TMSS2016 Hollywood Star Party
Stars, check. Red carpet, check. Is there really any other way to do Hollywood? We will not be missing out on this celebration on the first night.
4.) Being a Giddy Tourist
There’s so much to experience in Hollywood that it’s only natural we visit the most touristy places while we’re in town — you can find us at the Hollywood Walk of Fame and taking a picture in front of the famous Hollywood sign. We have our fingers crossed for a few celebrity sightings, too.
5.) LOLing Until It Hurts
We can’t wait to see what Kevin Nealon has up his sleeve for the Lots of Laughs party for a perfect conclusion to the summit.
